\u201cI heard her,\u201d Thom said, closing his sketchpad and turning toward me. \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cPhelan\u2019s still not awake,\u201d I said, as if that would explain everything. \u201cPut the sword down, Jay.\u201d<\/p>\n
