\u201cAren\u2019t you supposed to be with Phelan?\u201d Neve asked, setting aside the blanket she\u2019d been mending, a look of alarm flitting across her expression. \u201cIs he okay?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe remembered Jac,\u201d J.T. said as he poured himself a mug of coffee from the pot that sat on the stones around the fire. \u201cThings are looking up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe did?\u201d Neve leaned forward. \u201cHow? Did Seamus find Eri\u00fa?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t know. Phelan just asked me to get her all of a sudden. He had a look that I\u2019ve seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOn him?\u201d Neve asked, sounding surprised.<\/p>\n
J.T. shook his head. \u201cOn Thom and Cameron. Occasionally even on Thordin\u2019s too, surprisingly enough. Do we know if he and Sif are…?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s even more complicated than Seamus\u2019s love life,\u201d Neve said, scrubbing a hand over her face. \u201cI don\u2019t ask. If he wants to talk about it, he\u2019ll bring it up. At least that\u2019s how I look at it.\u201d She closed her eyes with a sigh. \u201cDid Phelan say anything else?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNot really,\u201d J.T. said, relaxing as he took a sip from his mug. \u201cJust asked me to get Jac, which I did.\u201d<\/p>\n
Davon stared at J.T. for a long, silent moment. \u201cAre you sure that leaving them alone together was a good idea? I mean, he\u2019s got amnesia. He may not be entirely himself, right?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s himself enough,\u201d J.T. said, frowning. \u201cWhy are you asking?\u201d<\/p>\n
