I\u2019ve told him that.\u201d She hugged one knee against her chest. \u201cThe All-Father sent me to find allies, you know,\u201d she said, her tone almost musing. \u201cI was supposed to gather anyone I could using whatever means necessary and bring them to fight with us, to fight in Ragnarok.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhat stopped you?\u201d Seamus asked.<\/p>\n She smiled wryly. \u201cSomeone pointed out to me that the world had already ended. They\u2019ll either join us or they won\u2019t. They\u2019re stubborn and it serves them well.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re brave,\u201d Seamus said. Perhaps foolish, but definitely brave.<\/em> He smiled ruefully. \u201cAnd stubborn.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cVery stubborn,\u201d Sif agreed. \u201cBut I suppose they come by it honestly, given their bloodlines.\u201d<\/p>\n Seamus shivered. \u201cAye.
