\u201cAnd I hate her more than anyone,\u201d Leinth whispered back. \u201cShe took you from me. One of her many crimes.\u201d She gave him a squeeze and stepped away, starting to dress. \u201cHow far are they? When will they get here?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNot until evening, I think,\u201d he said. \u201cMaybe not until full dark. Earlier if they push. I can\u2019t\u2014\u201d His voice hitched. \u201cThey\u2019re too far away for me to tell if they\u2019re upset enough to rush.\u201d<\/p>\n
She touched his shoulder. \u201cSeamus, it\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leinth squeezed his shoulder and picked up her cloak. \u201cAre you going to go take a walk, then?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIf Marin can\u2019t sleep, she\u2019ll be checking the wards on the walls,\u201d Seamus murmured. \u201cI might as well go keep her company.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cPhelan\u2019s worried about her,\u201d Leinth said softly.<\/p>\n
