\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Matt shook his head.\u00a0 \u201cWell, I figured once I told them who was threatening us and told them that we have the chance to stop him before he makes it here then I\u2019d see how they responded and go from there.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thom nodded slowly, looking thoughtful as he looked away, stared off into space as they kept walking\u2014Matt slowly enough that Thom didn\u2019t have to struggle to keep up on his crutches.\u00a0 Matt knew his brother-in-law\u2019s shoulders were still sore though he was fairly certain the worst of the deep gouges left by camazotzi <\/i>claws were healed by now.\u00a0 \u201cThat\u2019s probably a good way to go about it,\u201d he said after a long pause.\u00a0 \u201cAre you going to tell them about Seamus and Orcus and the connection there?\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to have to,\u201d Matt said quietly.\u00a0 \u201cThey already know.\u00a0 At least enough of them already know.\u00a0 I\u2019ll tell them Orcus is ten miles northwest of here and that we have three days\u2014less than three days, really\u2014to stop him in his tracks before he comes here.\u00a0 We\u2019ll have to scout out his forces, figure out how to beat them, then hit him hard\u2014or, if we can\u2019t figure out how to hit him before he comes, at least we\u2019ll have an idea of what he\u2019ll bring up against us.\u00a0 At least it doesn\u2019t seem like he\u2019s got allies.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
