\u201cBecause I\u2019m terrified of what it means if I\u2019m the one they\u2019re looking for.\u00a0 Not just for me, but for all of you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou said they think you might be somebody.\u00a0 Who do they think this somebody is?\u201d<\/p>\n

The question only made sense in context and Tory blew out a breath through his teeth, shaking his head slowly.\u00a0 \u201cKing Arthur reborn.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKing Arthur reborn,\u201d Astrid echoed, her tone holding a significantly heavy note of disbelief.\u00a0 \u201cLike from all of those Round Table stories that you and Lin were always reading?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething like that, except this is apparently the real thing.\u201d\u00a0 Tory rubbed at his temple.\u00a0 \u201cAnd the worst of it is, I actually believe that it might<\/em> be a real thing.\u00a0 I\u2019m just not convinced that I\u2019m the one they\u2019re looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n

The question was jarring.\u00a0 \u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n
