November 20, 2013 is my thirty-first birthday.
I had intended to give you something awesome to read, something possibly involving people riding hell-bent for leather to save their friend before skinwalkers ate him.
Then we hit a deer on the way home from the office (we’re fine but the car is not).
For the first time ever, there will be no update on a Wednesday.
I know you say you are fine, but wait a few days to be sure. You will know you are fine if the next time you are driving and see a deer crossing the road you do not flinch. If you just yell out the window at it, you are good to go. I count myself lucky. I live in Western PA. I have heard we have the highest deer VS car rates anywhere and I have not yet come close. Of course that may be because they sense me coming and hide. They know if they cross my path they become my prey.
From my experience, any kind of emotion or fear may crop up from this kind of event. Take all the time you need to just chill out and breath.

I once hit a kitteh in my car, I felt really guilty about it but it was in the middle of a driving lesson and the teacher insisted that we keep going…. Few days later the exact same kitteh was sitting on the roof of the car…. Just watching…..
